Mandated to develop the BBC’s archives she developed “WildVision”, the award winning commercial production arm of the NHU guiding it through development to fully fledged production house for long form and commercials. She represented television programming for the BBC Charter renewal commercial strategy committee in the mid 90s helping to “unlock” the BBC’s vast catalog of drama and comedy which later led to the development of the BBC’s first satellite channels. Deployed to the US to open a US based Library Sales operation she developed a number of innovative archive strategies with Microsoft and DCI and negotiated the BBC/CBS representation agreement as well as the current website based business strategy and pioneered the use of broadband based delivery of transmission materials to clients. Jill is a professional photographer and shoots most of the BAFTA East Coast's special screenings and events. |
